Dear Mike,
Today I got up early and did my meditation. I started my mindful review and wrote a long and important blog post.
I've noticed some bad habits that I'd like to start working on.
For one thing, procrastination. I'm in the habit of procrastinating, and I am sorry that I am passing that bad habit on to you. I hope that you will make improvements.
I hope you institute the one rule that my predecessor recommended to me: that you set as a time limit for whatever you do.
Another thing that I hope you do: attempt to be mindful before you start a task. By that I mean: anchor your attention on the task at hand, then spread your awareness, and wait before you start.
In fact, I think that would be a really good idea.
Please try that, if nothing else.
